Luigi’s Flying Tires, Bad Rap Undeserved

As promised in my last article I was determined on our visit last week to finally ride Luigi’s Flying Tires.  We decided that if the wait was under an hour we would wait in line.  Well on our AP Magic Morning the wait was only 40 minutes after we got off Radiator Springs Racers.  I must admit that I had read more than a few reviews giving Luigi’s a bad rap for one reason or another so my expectations were not high.  I was however pleasantly surprised to find out that my Fettuccine Tire was easy to maneuver (by slightly leaning in the direction we wanted to go) and we got some great speed at times.  What a fun ride Luigi’s Flying Tires was, even the grand kids managed to fly around easily with the help of their older cousin.

Haunted Mansion

Its that time of year again, the holiday season is nearly upon us and Disneyland’s iconic Haunted Mansion has once again been taken over by Jack Skeleton. This past weekend saw the annual transformation from the “Normal Version” of the Haunted Mansion over to the “Holiday Version” which features characters from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Haunted Mansion is one of only three rides in the park that get the special treatment during the Holidays and it’s something I personally look forward too.
